NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) legislation now gives student‑athletes the ability to earn money through endorsements, appearances, and social media. Since becoming permissible in 2021, NIL has continued to evolve, creating new opportunities for athletes to be compensated for their athletic talent, ease financial stress, and support their families. Additionally, student-athletes are able build real‑world skills such as greater financial literacy, creating & managing personal wealth, and capitalizing on their own personal brand. As national standards continue to take shape, NIL is becoming an increasingly meaningful part of student‑athletes’ financial and personal development.

Education & Awareness

Awareness sessions for athletes, teams, and parents that explain the NIL landscape, the key advisory professionals athletes should work with, and practical resources you can share within your family or athletic program. These sessions are intended to cover topics such as preparing for college life, 529 Plan options, financial aid & scholarships, and of course NIL fundamentals.

A base 30‑minute exploratory presentation with Q&A designed to help families dive deeper and get the answers they need.

Financial Literacy & Planning

Athletes and families can receive guidance on cash‑flow management, saving and investing strategies, long‑term planning, and risk and fraud protection. We help athletes understand how NIL income fits into their broader financial future both on and off the field. This includes budgeting for seasonal income changes, evaluating endorsement timing, and protecting earnings through good financial habits.

Tax & Entity Support

NIL compensation can create new tax and reporting obligations for student‑athletes and parents. My team can assist in coordinating introductions to trusted CPAs, discuss when it may be appropriate to consider forming an LLC or other entity, and foster prompt communication across all advisory resource partners. This integrated approach ensures families make informed decisions with professional support every step of the way.

Team Pathways to College

Supporting an elite athlete is a family commitment first. It also is one that extends to coaches, athletic directors, and community leaders. We help not only the families prepare but extend our reach into the local school system meeting and working with like-minded professionals to deliver awareness & education that aligns with high‑school pathways for prospective college athletes. Your Established Partner: Brian Meyer

Deep community roots: I have deep roots in the Alpharetta and Milton community, with more than ten years of coaching experience in youth basketball and baseball. I was raised in a 4 brother household of exceptional athletes. It has been one of my greatest joys to connect naturally with student‑athletes and their parents.

Seasoned financial guidance: As a Vice President and Financial Advisor, I help families navigate complex financial decisions, including those that NIL can accelerate. Great outcomes aren't left to chance. They take spot-on planning and execution.

Education-first approach: I am hands-on and face-to-face, always prepared to educate and lead. Beginning with practical exploratory sessions for athletes and parents individually, to being upfront with coaches and Athletic Directors (ADs) about the many nuances of navigating NIL and financial outcomes, taking an informational approach gets the process going in the right direction from the start.

Trusted network: To be successful on the sporting field or court, you assemble a team carefully with each member playing a role. This is equally important in this new era of NIL when it comes to achieving a desired financial outcome. Working closely with trusted partners in Legal (Attorney/Agent), Tax & Accounting (CPA), and an expert NIL consultant (Advance NIL), my role as Financial Advisor is to help assemble 'your team' so we can all deliver results for your student-athlete and family.
